Not sure if it’s nothing, or if you need a doctor?
Salus Scan asks the right questions about your symptoms and tells you honestly what it sees — including what it isn’t sure about.
In an emergency, call your local emergency number (112 in the EU, 911 in the US). Salus Scan is not an emergency service.
Three steps, no surprises
The whole interview takes a few minutes. You always know what stage you’re at and how many questions are left.
- 01
Describe your symptoms
Type what you’re feeling. If it’s something visible, you can add a photo.
- 02
Answer a few questions
The AI picks questions that actually distinguish between possible causes — not a generic checklist.
- 03
Get a preliminary read
With reasoning and a ready-made report you can bring to a doctor.
We don’t pretend certainty we don’t have
Before Salus Scan gives an answer, it actively looks for reasons its first guess might be wrong. If a real alternative still stands after that, it says so plainly instead of pretending full certainty. This isn’t a diagnosis. It’s a tool that helps you decide whether — and how urgently — to see a doctor.
Who built this
I build Salus Scan on my own — from the first line of code, through dozens of versions, to what you see now. My name is Milan. It started from a simple question: can AI help people make smarter decisions about when a symptom really needs a doctor and when it can wait — without ever pretending to replace real medical care.
The hardest part wasn’t the diagnostics itself, but the honesty: teaching the AI to admit uncertainty instead of faking it.
Common questions, answered plainly
Does Salus Scan give a diagnosis?
No. It gives a preliminary AI suggestion based on your answers, not a diagnosis. It does not replace an examination or a doctor’s advice — especially if symptoms get worse or don’t go away.
How does Salus Scan work?
You describe your symptoms (optionally adding a photo), answer a few questions chosen by the AI, and finish with a preliminary assessment with reasoning, plus a report you can show a doctor.
Is Salus Scan free?
Yes. Salus Scan is free and does not require an account.
What happens to my data?
Salus Scan does not keep your data after you close the browser tab. To run the analysis, your answers and photo are sent to external AI providers, who may process them under their own terms.
Can the AI be wrong?
Yes. That is why Salus Scan looks for arguments against its own first guess and shows reasonable alternatives instead of pretending to be certain. It does not name specific medications.
What should I do in an emergency?
Call your local emergency number (112 in the EU, 911 in the US). Salus Scan is not an emergency service and is not suitable for life-threatening situations.
Which languages does Salus Scan support?
Polish and English. You choose the language at the start of the interview and it stays fixed while the interview is in progress.
Who is behind Salus Scan?
One person — Milan — building it alone in his spare time. Contact: salus.scan.medical@gmail.com.
